The accidental 6 month break...

I'm baaaaaaack!!!

Ok so, since my last post at the new year (I mean that was only 6 months ago!) A lot has been going on. In January I changed jobs (but stayed within the same company) and moved back to sunny Scotland!! After a couple of weeks on my Mum's couch due to me having to start my new job before we could move into our flat, we got the keys and got all of our stuff packed up (again!) and took it from the Midlands to Glasgow and unpacked it all (again!) We were finally settled in and I got my sewing stuff all unpacked and ready to go and cracked on with some time sensitive sewing including making a Winnie the Pooh quilt for our beautiful wee niece that was born in February 👶

So literally days after cuddling my niece for the very first time I discovered that we were expecting our own little offspring! So cue me being completely exhausted for the next couple of months and barely even looking at my sewing machine let alone do anything that wasn't sitting in bed half asleep wishing I could have loads of caffeine 😂

 I'm now at 24 weeks so my sew-jo has returned to make thing for my self and baby and even some things for my best friend who's just had her beautiful wee baby 💖

So hopefully normal blogging service will resume soon with lots of lovely makes!
